Elinor Bennett in Concert - Sunday 26th November Highly-Acclaimed international concert harpist Elinor Bennett will be giving a recital in the beautiful setting of Symington Parish Church, Brewlands Road, Ayrshire, KA1 5QZ on Sunday 26th November at 3pm. Elinor studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Osian Ellis and has performed with many of the world's finest conductors and composers, including Benjamin Britten, Sir Colin Davis, Andre Previn and Paul Mealor. Elinor has been at the forefront of music performance and education for many years, travelling worldwide giving concerts and masterclasses. She is regarded as one of Britain's most influential harp teachers and is the founder of the Wales International Harp Festival of which she continues to be Artistic Director. Elinor is chair of the panel who select the official harpist to the Prince of Wales. Elinor was awarded an OBE in 2006 for her services to music.
