Ayr Through the Ages - a Heritage day for all the family

Where: 26 High St Ayr (former Watt Brothers) KA7 1PA
When: Saturday 01 October 2016 at 11am-4pm

Join our fun free heritage day to celebrate the history and talents of Ayr town.

Activities include living history and costumed re-enactors, children's archery, weaving, old films, crafts and an Ayrshire song workshop.
There will be a display of old photographs to jog memories and add your stories to, as well as the ideas for the new town builds.

This year sees the launch of Ayr's new Heritage trail Ayr through the Ages.
As part of their funding for this from the Coastal Communities Fund, Ayr Renaissance is supporting events for the community throughout the year. Ayr through the Ages Heritage day will offer lots of hands-on activities and displays for all the family and its free!

Note: there are steps up to the film show area. If this is a problem please contact us and alternative arrangements can be made for viewing.
