EU Services Directive
The EU Services Directive is a European law that aims to break down barriers to
cross border trade in services between countries in the EU. The Directive requires
all EU countries to lift legal and administrative barriers to service provision.
It will make it easier for service providers such as small and medium-sized enterprises
to offer their services to customers in other EU countries, whether establishing
elsewhere in the EU or providing services remotely from the UK.
For further information about what's included in the Directive please see the
Service Directive, Doing Business Made Easier leaflet.
