Radiation Levels are monitored quarterly
by our Environmental Protection Team at various sites throughout
the district.
The team also gathers various foods and environmental samples
every month. These are analysed to determine the degree of contamination
by man-made radionuclides. Radioactivity in these samples has
been found to be within the recommended levels.
