Our team brings together expertise and knowledge in, amongst other things:

environmental performance monitoring
large scale renewable energy developments
nature conservation and biodiversity
outdoor public access, Land Reform and rights of way
open spaces strategy, policy and development
planning and environmental improvement projects
strategic environmental assessment
tree protection and forestry
waste strategy and development
It also administrates for the South Ayrshire Waste and Environment Trust and runs the South Ayrshire Sustainability Forum, all with the intention to further the aims of Sustainable Development. The Team is headed by Ken Gibb, Sustainable Development Manager.
