Ayrshire Joint Structure Plan
This plan provides the overall strategic framework in
Ayrshire for sustainable economic development, maintaining the
vitality and viability of existing towns and villages and protecting
and enhancing the countryside as well as the physical environment.
South Ayrshire Local Plan
this plan provides the framework for co-ordinated physical planning
along the principles established in the Structure Plan; specifically
ensuring that new housing, industry and other development including
transport network is planned for in a sustainable manner.
