The natural environment is one of our greatest resources and one that we all use – even if we are not aware of doing so!
The trees and plants act as “exchanges” converting the carbon dioxide that we exhale and produce through industry into oxygen that we can use and breath... ...they are sometimes known as the lungs of the planet.
The birds, animals, and insects provide an ecosystem from which we benefit from on a daily basis. In many countries these creatures act as a food source. For us in the developed countries the animals provide an additional dimension to our lives making it a more pleasant experience.
