Add to this the governments pressure to tackle environmental issues such as energy consumption and transport, the increasing cost of energy and water and any business manager/ownerl will be wondering where to turn for advice and wondering about the cost of compliance.

In many instances there is a plethora of agencies available to give advice - most for free. There are often grants and interest free loans on offer, it is just a matter of finding them. This leaflet provides a list of the main sources of advice covering Resource Management. Applying good resource management often results in saving money and increasing profits.

In addition this leaflet provides information relating to Environmental Standards and Schemes. Business clients are becoming much more environmentally aware and are asking for information relating to environmental reporting, environmental management systems and green or ethical purchasing. Having an award or complying to ISO 14001 can often benefit your business.

It makes sense for businesses to become more environmentally aware.
