South Ayrshire Draft Economic Development Strategy
What is your vision for the economy in South Ayrshire? We want to know your views
so you can help us shape the new ten year South Ayrshire Economic Development Strategy
document.
The ten year strategy sets out the overall aims and objectives for economic development
in South Ayrshire and the proposed activities to create the right conditions for
increasing business growth and employment opportunities.
The strategy has six proposed priority outcomes:
- A more diversified economy
- An entrepreneurial culture
- Equality of economic opportunity
- An attractive place in which to work, live, visit and invest
- Vibrant and dynamic town centres
- A more dynamic rural economy
The six proposed priority outcomes are based on current and projected trends for
South Ayrshire in relation to business development, employment, regeneration and
rural issues.
Importantly we want to know how you and your community could engage more effectively
in local community economic development.
There is a short questionnaire in relation to the draft strategy which can be completed
online, it only takes a few minutes and the information you provide will be very
