Community Planning Partnership

Our Consultations and Surveys

The Community Planning Partnership and our partners use methods to consult with local people to ensure that their views are taken into account.

One of the main methods used is our citizens panel, known as the South Ayrshire 1000. One thousand local people of all ages and backgrounds agree to complete a questionnaire about local services, usually twice a year. The surveys include questions about council services and also about services delivered by our community planning partners. Results are considered by the Community Planning Partnership partners and used to improve services.
