All visits will be during working hours - Monday to Friday, except in exceptional circumstances. A photo will be taken and sent to the couple as soon after the visit as possible. At the celebrants’ request we can arrange for photographs to be placed in the local press but cannot guarantee in which issue they will appear.

Should you wish the Provost to visit, please complete the Application for Anniversary Recognition and email it to civic.coordinator@south-ayrshire.gov.uk. Please apply at least 4 weeks prior to the date of the anniversary.

In order to process this request, it will be essential for you to provide a good quality photocopy of the celebrants’ marriage certificate, which will be retained. Please do not send originals.

If you do not have a copy of the marriage certificate, a copy may be obtained from one of our Registration Offices if the marriage was registered in Scotland.
