South Ayrshire Council is always keen to attract as much external funding as possible to help improve its services. The Head of Enterprise and Property has this responsibility.

By adopting a measured, coordinated approach across Council Services, external funding is sought primarily by tailoring our approach to the particular criteria of funding bodies, giving us the greatest opportunity of achieving maximium additional monies for Council Services.

As so much of South Ayrshire is of a rural nature, specific attention is paid to the promotion and development of its rural economy, particularly supporting local organisations in bidding for externally sourced funding
