| Corporate Policy & Communications | ||
Location: County Buildings, Ayr The Corporate Policy and Communications Service is responsible for providing advice to Elected Members and the Corporate Management Team on corporate policy development; communications issues; and responses to major consultation exercises. We are the lead Service in the development of the Council’s business planning, and service planning framework. The Corporate Policy section of the Service is responsible for the community planning process; the promotion of equalities in service planning and delivery; and public consultation. The Economic Strategy section plays the lead role in the development and review of the Council’s economic development strategies. The Communications section handles media relations; public relations; internal communications; design and graphics; marketing, advertising and promotions. The Customer Service section is responsible for the development of improvements in customer contacts; customer service and customer care, including the Council’s comments, suggestions, and complaints scheme. |
