South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership Strategic Plan 2018 - 2021
The South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership will be publishing a new Strategic Plan for the period 2018-21. This new document will completely replace the existing original three-year plan approved in 2015.
The new Strategic Plan will set out proposals for the provision of unscheduled acute hospital care in South Ayrshire, mainly at University Hospital Ayr, as well as for community and primary care health services and social work/care services, including those provided by the 3rd and Independent Sectors.
The strategic direction set in the Plan will apply to services for children, families, people in the Criminal Justice System, adults and older people.
The new Strategic Plan will determine how the Integrated Budget for Health and Social Care of around £205m per annum in South Ayrshire is spent during the planning period.
The Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking the views of all of its stakeholders through a questionnaire to help it to shape its new Plan. This questionnaire has been designed to seek stakeholder views on the appropriateness of the goals set out in its previous Strategic Plan and what the priorities for health and social care in South Ayrshire should be in the period to 2018-21.
