Draft Integration Scheme

Through this website in November and earlier this month, the Council and NHS Ayrshire and Arran consulted on a draft of the Integration Scheme for the South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

The Integration Scheme is the partnership agreement between the Council and the NHS Board which, under the provisions of the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act, 2014, will form the basis for the establishment and operation of the Integration Joint Board for the Health and Social Care Partnership in South Ayrshire.

Both parties invited comments on the contents of the earlier draft of the document.

The consultative draft has now been updated and finalised to take account of the Regulations laid before the Scottish Parliament by Scottish Ministers. These give practical effect to particular aspects of the legislation.

The Council and the NHS Board wish to provide one final opportunity for interested individuals/parties to comment on the content of this latest version of the document before it is formally approved by them in January, 2015.

If you wish to make any comments on the document, please do so using the response pro-forma provided and return it to by close of business on 6th January, 2015.
