Community Engagement Strategy/Health and Social Care Locality Planning

You have the power!

South Ayrshire Council has adopted a new draft community engagement strategy and we want to know what you think about services and how we can make these better and more relevant to you, and your local community.

Let us know your needs, how well your local services are delivered, work with us to identify priorities, highlight local issues - and let us know what more can be done within your neighbourhood to improve day-to-day lives.

And you can start right now and join in a conversation about health and social care services, which are changing in your area next year.

From April 2015 these services will be delivered by the newly-created South Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership, which is overseen by NHS Ayrshire & Arran and South Ayrshire Council.

GPs, hospitals, health workers, social workers, charities and voluntary groups will all work together to deliver a complete service of care and support designed for you, your neighbourhood and your local community.

These six areas would then be split into ‘neighbourhoods’ in order to establish on-the-ground local needs at community level.
