A Better Future Together
What is the pupose of this document?
'A Better Future Together' is a statement of the vision that the organisations, which form the South Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership, have for the area. It describes the priorities that the Community Planning Partners believe that they should work together on over the period 2006 to 2010 to improve the quality of life for all people of South Ayrshire. It is hoped that this vision will form the basis of a Community Plan for the area.
What is a community plan?
A Community Plan is intended to provide a framework for all the organisations involved in providing services to the people in South Ayrshire, so that they can work together to improve the way in which services are planned and delivered. In that way they can make better use of public money.
However, it is important that residents and community groups are involved in setting the priorities and in helping to deliver them. For that reason, the Community Planning Partnership wants to open the debate. In particular, we are interested in hearing your views on what changes and initiatives could make the most positive difference to the qualility of people's lives in South Ayrshire. In that way, we can focus our combined efforts on this shared agenda.
