DISMANTLING DOMESTIC ABUSE TRAINING South Ayrshire Council has developed a new Multi-Agency partnership to improve services to women and children experiencing domestic abuse. This partnership has secured funding through the Scottish Government's Domestic Abuse Service Development Fund to deliver:-
The Multi Agency Partnership is committed to tackling
domestic abuse & recognises this is an issue which blights
the lives of many women & children in South Ayrshire. It
will work together to encourage a climate where all forms of
domestic abuse will be condemned and the devastating effect domestic
abuse has on the lives of women and children will be addressed. Limited places are currently available free of charge for South Ayrshire based service providers in both the voluntary and statutory sector. Topics covered will include:
It is envisaged that future 'Dismantling Domestic
Abuse' training days will be developed through feedback and consultation
with individuals, projects and departments as the programme progresses.
This training programme is supported by the partnership and
is being provided as part of our commitment to combat the reality
of domestic abuse and its impact on service delivery.
As service providers:
About the training: This will be an opportunity for service providers to develop a greater understanding of domestic abuse & how it can impact on the lives of women & children. Who is the training aimed at?: All individuals, including
Managers, Volunteers & Students - who work with or provide
