The Council is often asked for information about any relevant Building Warrants or Completion Certificates in relation to the sale of property and in particular house sales.

Apart from the legal implications failure to obtain Warrants or Completion Certificates can have serious practical consequences.

Where work requires to be disturbed for inspection or rectified it can result in considerable expense and may cause a sale to be delayed.
