How to become a childminder

Are you considering Childminding as a career?

If you would like a rewarding career working with children and like the idea of working from home, this could be perfect for you. Childminders look after children in their own home, whilst the children's parents are at work or studying. They could look after babies and children under five during the day, and/or older children after school and in the school holidays.

Interested?

You will find all you need to know at the Scottish Childminding Association and also here at the Care Inspectorate website.

Further information can also be found at Registering and running a childminding service and at CARIS.
