Valerie Ogilvie

My name is Valerie Ogilvie and I am the Active School Coordinator (P) for the Prestwick Academy Cluster.

The Prestwick Academy Cluster covers 5 primary schools including; Glenburn, Heathfield, Kingcase, Monkton and Symington.

My main aim is to encourage all primary school children to become more active in their daily life, which will hopefully be carried forward into their adult life. This will be achieved by providing opportunities for all children to participate through a variety of fun activities. These activities will take place in the form of breakfast clubs, after school sessions and playground games.

The success of Active Schools relies on many different volunteers and organisations, to deliver as wide a range of activities as possible. We can provide support and training for all volunteers.
