Active Schools
Jill Tomlinson
As the Carrick Academy Cluster Active Schools Coordinator I have the responsibility
for and am working closely with the Staff, Parents and Pupils of: Cairn Primary
School, Crosshill Primary School, Fisherton Primary School, Gardenrose Primary School,
Kirkmichael Primary School, Maidens Primary School, Minishant Primary School, Straiton
Primary School and St. Cuthbert’s PS.
Within these schools my aim to increase activity levels of children by providing
them with opportunities to participate, promote and encourage active lifestyles
and work alongside local clubs and organisations who can provide for them and create
pathways in which the children can follow to further participation in their chosen
activity.
