As the Carrick Academy Cluster Active Schools Coordinator (P) I have the responsibility for and am working closely with the Staff, Parents and Pupils of: Cairn PS; Crosshill PS; Fisherton PS; Gardenrose PS; Kirkmichael PS; Maidens PS; Minishant PS; and Straiton PS.
Within these schools my aim to increase activity levels of children by providing them with opportunities to participate, promote and encourage active lifestyles and work alongside local clubs and organisations who can provide for them and create pathways in which the children can follow to further participation in their chosen activity.
Support from volunteers would increase opportunities and add to the development of the programme within the cluster, if you would like to find out more about volunteering, no matter how large or small the time commitment please do not hesitate to contact me.
