South Ayrshire Local Plan
Report of the Scottish Government Reporters to South Ayrshire Council;
South Ayrshire Local Plan Inquiry
The Report of the Public Local Inquiry into the South Ayrshire Local Plan has been prepared and forwarded to South Ayrshire Council by the Scottish Government Inquiry Reporters’ Unit.
The Council must carefully consider the Report and the recommendations contained within it relative to the objections made to the South Ayrshire Local Plan and which were considered at the Local Plan Inquiry. It is anticipated that these deliberations will be concluded by Summer 2006. The Council will contact all objectors to the finalised South Ayrshire Local Plan to inform them of the Councils considered views on their respective objections and the Reporter’s associated recommendations.
South Ayrshire Council is making the Report available for public inspection prior to considering its contents. It is doing so in the interests of openness and providing information for the public and other interested parties. Comments or observations are not being invited on the Report or its content at this point in time.
It is likely that, arising from consideration of the Reporters’ Report, the Council will publish proposed modifications to the Local Plan upon which the public and any other interested party may submit written representations.
Alternatively, the Report may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours at Burns House, Burns Statue Square, Ayr, KA7 1UT.
